About The Company

We are Homeward Bound AMT

It’s not something you think about when booking a vacation.  Vacations are supposed to be a time to make memories exploring and relaxing.  We knew something was terribly wrong when my husband and father to my children/grandchildren started experiencing chest pain.

After his open heart surgery was over I thought we could go home and get back to our routine however, this is where our journey began. Surgery did not go as planned and unexpected complications kept us away from home for several weeks.  It was during this time I longed for familiarity of my home and the support of  my loved ones. I knew if we could get home my husbands recovery would be easier for all of us. This is where the specialized care of Homeward Bound Air Medical Transport staff excels.

Homeward Bound Air Medical Transport is a group of highly skilled Physicians, Paramedics and Registered Nurses.  We value safety, excellence, integrity, preparedness and compassion.  We believe your love one deserves the comfort of home and family when they are ill and feeling unwell. It is our  mission to provide specialized and timely care outside of the brick and mortar hospital environment.

We are based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. We offer services out of Atlantic Canada’s gateway to the world Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
